 is located in southwest Louisiana  
8904 Hwy. 165, Oberlin, LA. the Parish Seat.
We are the home of the Coushatta Indians, 
the famous Grand Casino Coushatta in Kinder, LA.
and the West Bay Wildlife Management Area.

The population of Allen Parish is estimated to be 24,000. Oakdale has the most with 8,000 followed by Kinder with 3,000. This large rural community is renown for its farming, hunting, fishing & canoeing.
